General Information on the Washington Hit 5 Combinations Generator

You can generate the combinations of a selected set of lottery numbers of the Washington Hit 5 game with or without fixing some of them. The purpose of fixing some numbers is to reduce the number of lottery plays generated. This results in lower cost, but at the expense of reduces chance of winning. For instance, the combinations of 9 lottery numbers will result in 126 lottery plays of Washington Hit 5; but if 3 of the numbers are fixed, the number of lottery plays becomes 15. This utility allows you to fix upto upto 4 numbers. Full Wheel Usage Example for Hit 5

Let us suppose that we want to play all Washington Hit 5 lottery numbers that are divisible by 4, that is, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36 (a total of 9). To preview the scenarios, select 9 from the drop-down numbers on the Preview panel and click on "Show Scenario". The total number of lottery plays to be generated will be shown as 126. Now, we can manipulate some 'what if' situations to see how the 126 lottery tickets would fare. For example, clicking on the 'If 4 correct' line will list that 5 of our Hit 5 lottery plays(tickets) will match 4-of-5, 40 will match 3-of-5, and so on. If all of the winning lottery numbers are divisible by 4, then it will be celebration time.

Now let us see the effect fixing 3 of our lottery numbers. While leaving 9 as the numbers to play, select 3 as the numbers to fix, and click the button. In this case there will be only 15 lottery plays to be generated all of which, as you'll see later, will contain the 3 fixed numbers. Here, the scenarios will involve how many of the fixed numbers and how many of the other selected lottery numbers are winners. For example, if 2 of the fixed numbers and 2 of the other selected lottery numbers are winners, then 1 of the 15 tickets will match 4-of-5, 8 will match 3-of-5, and so forth.

The generation part of Washington Hit 5 combinations shouldn't pose any problem. As explained above, a cycle of clicks on a number will select, fix, and unselect it, respectively. The 'Generate' button will list the resulting Hit 5 combinations in a new browser window.

At this point, you can select the 9 Hit 5 numbers of our example and see the outcome. Also, you may fix 3 lottery numbers, say, 4, 12, and 24, and click "Generate". Observe that all the generated combinations will contain 4, 12, and 24.
